1871/61/51/41 Census - JONES Family

I have been trying to find the Jones family on the above census to no avail.

Jonathon (John) Thomas Jones was born about 1805/6 he was married to Mary Batt and they would appear to have had about 9 children, one of the latest Jonathon who is in my blood line it would appear that John Thomas had died by 1851 and Mary brought the family up.   Jonathon married Ellen Waller in 1874 these were my great grandparents.

Mary Jones 45 (Widow) Head born Kent, Chatham - Cordwainer employing one man
James Jones 19 son
Maria Jones 14 dau
George Jones 11 son
Thomas Jones 8 son
Jonathan Jones 6 son (seen in 1881 married to Ellen - PoB 'Northam'



and dropping back to 1841 confirms that the Father was John Thomas Jones

all born in County stated except Mother Mary.

1861 is a mystery, 1871 I can see some of the older sons - but not George or Jonathan - could Mary have remarried?

If so, it wasnt in the Hatfield District.

Prob should check for her death too ...
