Hello, I'm just wondering if anybody has information on the Broadfield family?
My great-great-grandmother was called Annie and I have always been told by my Nan that her middle name was
Lydia but we never knew her surname... She married Henry George
Hallford.
After lots of research and speaking to other people on Genes Reunited, I gained knowledge of her marriage to Henry as 'Annie Broadfield':
10/06/1889- Paddington, Middlesex, England- Henry's surname is spelt
'Orford' here.
However, I haven't bought the certificate and before I do, I was just wondering if anybody had any connections to this family or information on them?
--- I was wondering if the Broadfields were possibly boat workers as the Hallfords were from Uxbridge and worked on the Grand Union canal...
Annie and Henry Hallford had 8 children, including:
-My great-grandmother, Violet May Hallford- known as 'May';
- Elizabeth Margaret- known as 'Peg';
-Lily Rose, known as 'Rose' and
- Nellie known as 'Nell'
So you see the use of middle names seems crucial here!
Any info would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks and Best wishes,
Tansy
