McArdle - Massachussets - LOOK UP

Hi,
It would be much appreciated if someone could do a look up for me.

I'm looking for a John McArdle born about 1867. He got married in Liverpool, but it is believed that he came from USA. The rumour is that he was on the Oratava (or Orotava) ship as a marine fireman, but I can't find his details on any passenger lists.

His father was a Michael McArdle per marriage certificate.

I have found a John Thomas McArdle on the 1880 census in Norfolk county, Massachussets, whose father is Michael. Could anyone find this family on the 1870 census for me?

They seem to still be in Canton, Massachusetts in 1870 - http://www.rootschat.com/links/0cv0/

His mother & brother Michael appear to still be in Canton in the 1900 & 1910 Census.

Definitely rules him out. The John I'm searching for got married in 1915.
