Young, John Raby b.1801 approx

Can anyone find any further information (eg parents details) on John Raby Young, born in Norfolk around 1801. Possible brothers could be Thomas & William. He got married in Hilgay to Mary Ann Roberts. I have census returns for him. Goodrum could be a potential maiden name for mother, as family in the habit of using family names as middle names in children and grandchildren.

So can you tell us where he gives as place of birth in the census records you have?    Norfolk is a large county.

This is probably him, "Young, Raby John" baptised October 29th 1800 at Hilgay by (I think) Wm and Lydia Young.

The entry has been squeezed in between two others and is not easy to read.  Two pages back is the baptism of William, son of William and Lydia Young.

Here is the beautifully written entry of their marriage in the Hilgay Archdeacons Transcripts - and they were married by licence, which could give you even more information.

It seems William Young was from Runcton Holme, which is about 7 miles from Hilgay
