Hello,

My name is Keith Denigan. The man you reference is my grandfather. He was a WWI Army veteran and Chicago Policeman. He and my grandmother had seven children. One boy died early in life. The other six:

Marge
Jim       WWII Army Airborne Infantry POW Europe Silver Star
John J   WWII Army Infantry Pacific Bronze Star (My Dad)
Mick      Korean War Marine Purple Heart
Pat
Tom

I don't know much about my grandfather other than he came from Ireland through Ellis Island in the 191x, I think 1916/1917. He was drafted and went back to Eurpoe to fight in the trenches during WWI.

That's all I know...Thanks - Keith

Hello,

Hi Keith

I have been corresponding with Barbara your cousin  :)
your grandfather Michael Denigan was the brother of my gt-grandfather Richard Denigan

There are a few Michael Denigan's arriving in the US around that time but I found one arrived on 23 May 1910 that I think may be him. It states Michael Joseph age 23 (born 1887 in Killashee) and father's name given is James Denigan.

Please message me if you want more details or to see my ancestry tree
