Andrew was born in Petty, Invernesshire circa 1873. Annie was born in Auchindoir, Aberdeenshire circa 1859 to 1865 depending which record you look at. In 1901, they were both at Norwood (large country house, now a hotel) East Peterculter. He was the gardener. (They had one child which did not survive. (ref the 1911 census) ) They had been married since 1898. The 1911 census for Cluny, West Aberdeenshire shows them in the 6 roomed "Gardeners House, they are just themselves.
This may explain why their burials are hard to find in Aberdeenshire.
