Hi ,  I know that the sisters husbands were not brothers as Donald Davidson parents were William Davidson and Janet(Jessie) Anderson but  I was wondering if the two men were at all related and if so how ie. cousins

I think this might be a family connection, I am Nan Davidson, in U.S. my father William James Davidson born U.S., his sister Isabelle born in Scotland, his father John Davidson, Cumnock Scotland and my grandmother was Agnes Lees Davidson. I have a cousin Jesse in Scotland.  Family from Cumnock area - grandmother Paisley

I think your family hail from Ayrshire not Invernesshire, this board and topic is related to the Davidson's from Invernesshire, I would suggest raising a new topic in Ayrshire.
