Yorkshire Indexers have Photographs of 249 Females and 643 Males from Stanley Royd Asylum, this was a Project with assistance from West Yorkshire Archives.

I received the same response re the documents for my great aunt who died in 1921.  I will need to wait or do a FOI request even though much of the information about her was public domain because of a high court controversy regarding her will which was widely reported at the time.

West Yorkshire Archives had a recent exhibition about the asylum.
