Thanks for that. To be honest the link between John/Sarah/Mary McGuire ,and the people/dates you have provided, is not clear to me - can you elaborate for me?
Cheers.

Hi,
This may help a little. 1 Aug 1873 Henry Newell married Jane Duncan in Dungannon Church of Ireland.

Regards

This was in response to reply #6 "There was an unknown daughter who married a Henry Newell of Dungannon Co. Tyrone - still to trace."
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Oh, sorry - I'm new to this kind of forum so didn't quite understand how it worked.
Cheers,

Hi John,

I am trying to pin down a connection with My Great Great Great Grandmother Mary Ann Duncan who married a George Brown. On the 1901/1911 Census data it states her birth place Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Her parents are William Duncan and Harriet Duncan nee possibly McKnight. On their census records in  1901 they state born co. antrim which is strange why would they go to dungannon to have a child. When i ran a search for a Harriet and William Duncan i found two births recorded on familysearch.org. One child born in belfast and the earlier one born in CLONAVADDY. The earlier one just stated the surname Duncan. I cannot say for certain but this appears to be a match. Any ideas?
