Thank you Mo for your reply, i know she had eight children in total and Ellen re married in 1858 to a William Flowers.
Ellens last child John A Carncross was born 3 years after James death ?.
When you say County, do you mean Yorkshire, and James was born outside Yorkshire ?
She is a mysteries lady.

Yes, for the County I mean Yorkshire and James was not born in Yorkshire.

Just found your message as doing some research into Hutchinson Methley / Rothwell for a friend

Ellen Hutchinson names her father as WILLIAM not JAMES on her 2nd marriage to WIlliam Flowers, West Yorkshire records now available on Ancestry and just had a look at the certificate.
