Hi Alice

Just looking at the NZ electoral rolls (index only), it seems your great-grandmother used just the name "Maud" (rather than "Maude" - or with another christian name).   ;)

Maud is shown (along with George Boyer FIVEASH) at the following locations.

1928 to 1938 - at Mataura

1946 to 1957 - at Westland

1963 at Marlborough (last listing for Maud - though George is still there in 1972.)

Hey all,
 Lucy2 I can confirm that they did live in Blenheim when her daughter Isabella was married to Thomas Bason.
You guys are honestly really quick. I am Alibas's cousin and am also new to this site. My boss (DonL) Recommended this site to us.

Might have found her mother Caroline Wilhemine Anderson born 1860 d 1940 and i have a sneaking suspision Maude was born to a single mum. or Carolines maiden name was Wilhemine or thats her middle name IDONT KNOW!!! i want to know lol

Mmm ... there is that birth listed on the NZ index  ??? 

1899 - ANDERSON - Gertrude Maude
Mother:  Caroline  .... Father:  N/R (not recorded).

*  Can you tell us please where your "new" information re: " Caroline Wilhemine ANDERSON", comes from ?

There is a death for

1941/23215 Anderson  Caroline Wilhemine  71Y

 but I suspect she was married

1909/1480 Caroline Wilhelmina  Ruebe to  John  Anderson 
so maybe not your lady
