Looking at Holton PRs i found nothing but as the post above refers to them  living in Lower Heyford i had a look at these PRs and found the following baptism..

Jul 13 1800 Richard Wait s/o Richard and Sarah

I then had a look at OFHS Oxfordshire Marriage Index and found the following marriage that would fit

22 May 1800 Richard Wait, Lr Heyford to Sarah Boddington at Sandford St Martin

Do you think these could be your family ?

     Sue :)

no sorry :(
the Richard I want married Mary Colston - I have that info

As the 1871 census gives his place of birth as Hertfordshire I wonder whether the place given in 1861 was meant to be [St] Alban.
Quartermain and variants - Oxfordshire
Wiggins - Oxfordshire
Lowe - Charney Bassett, Berkshire
Bettle - Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire
Marshall - Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire
Goodman - Buckinghamshire
