Hi
thanks for any help
I am looking for the baptism of Richard Waite born 1799/1800
Wife Mary Colston and he was transported to Australia in 1823 for 14 years. When he returned he moved to Wales with his family
He was a gamekeeper by trade

any help would be wonderful as I need to know his parents then go back from there

He did live in Wilshire after his marriage

Hi

As Rosie99 states, please see other topic .........................

Copied from thread in Herts.....
In 1841 Richard and Mary are living in Lower Heyford, Oxfordshire..
Lower Heyford is next door to?
North, Middle and Steeple ASTON.
HO 107 / 886 / 5 / 13 / 19-20, Oxfordshire, Lower Heyford, District 6, Page 10

There are also 2 not guilty verdicts of embezzlement for "Richard Waite" in Oxford in the months of April and July 1847. Could that be him?

Looking at Holton PRs i found nothing but as the post above refers to them  living in Lower Heyford i had a look at these PRs and found the following baptism..

Jul 13 1800 Richard Wait s/o Richard and Sarah

I then had a look at OFHS Oxfordshire Marriage Index and found the following marriage that would fit

22 May 1800 Richard Wait, Lr Heyford to Sarah Boddington at Sandford St Martin

Do you think these could be your family ?

     Sue :)
