Yes Cammey, I have him in the census returns, ranging from Skelmorlie to Helensburgh back to Inverkip.  Dugald was actually born on Tiree.

Sounds as though you may have picked up on another Dugald MacKinnon

I am looking for any records of Charlotte Santiero who worked at Ardgowan House as housekeeper until her death in 1849.  Her will is witnessed by Adam Melrose, gardener at Ardgowan.  I have sent an email in the hope that there may be records or photos of the staff at that time but, have not received a reply.
Can anyone help please?
