Searching for ANY info on Michele [Michael] Matonti ,
son of Gaetano Matonti, [Marble cutter ]and Rosa D'Amore
Born Cava De Terrini, Italy. abt 1897

He later moved to Scotland, married Violet Lawrence.Feb 6th 1917 Glasgow
One of his brothers was named Bernardo

there are immigration papers for gaetano matonti with wife amelia and daughters lucia, i can't read the other and son vincenzo they arrived in ew york in 6th sept 1908, gaetano was born in 1870 in cava salerno italy, ships name was san giovanni, there is also another with michee matonti going to same place

Not certain if that is the same family.
I am told that Gaetano, [Michael's father ], was previously married to his second wife's sister! Don't have her christian name.
