I'd be very interested in "Middleditch" and "Sorrell" (especially if a Nathaniel Middleditch married an Ann Sorrell around 1778!)

A look-up would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much for taking the time and effort.  I have a dodgy record of a Nathaniel Middleditch marrying Ann "Sorrill" in Widford 15 September 1778 - submitted by a LDS member (and all that that could entail!).

Nathaniel and Catherine Knight (m 1726) were this Nathaniel's grandparents. This Sorrill/Sorrell woman is giving me sorrow!  The Middleditch's were from Broomfield (from when Nathaniel snr and Catherine married) until about 1780, but didn't necessarily marry there.

I got very interested in my family history whern I found out I had a Nathaniel Middleditch as one of my antecedents.  The name really tickled my fancy.  Indeed I would have used him as my handle on here if I had my time again.

Thanks again

JULIAN
