Stoney Quarter, Slemish. Robinson

Some of my mother's relatives lived at Stoney Quarter, Slemish (I believe the area was actually called Ballynacaird).  Her father was a Robinson.  Does anyone have any information on these families and their relatives please? I have seen four Robinson families there  in the 1911 Census, and would like to find out if and how they were related to my mother (she was 3 in 1911); perhaps one family was her grandfather's.  Thanks.

My mother's name was Bella Robinson. I have just found her in the Scottish 1911 census on Scotland's People as Isabella aged 3. Her father was John Robinson but I don't know anything about his side of the family before that, only that there were relatives in Stoney Quarter, Slemish.

John Robinson's age is given as 39 but in the 1901 census of Ireland, he was down as age 26.

There are quite a few Robsinson's in Ballynacaird.

He's living and working at the Shaw's in  Ballyligpatrick - I think they may have been relatives too.

It is very hard to pin down.

If you go by the age in 1901 of 26 that gives estimate DOB as: 31st March 1874 to 31st March 1875

Assuming that a least one of the ages he gave was correct the birth should be listed above. But making that assumption would not cover all bases if he was unsure of his DOB it may lay between the two! Sorry I could not help!
