REMOVAL ORDER - Evercreech to Wanstrow 1837
« on: Monday 11 April 11 12:33 BST (UK) »
Is there anyone who could help me with a transcript of a:

REMOVAL ORDER for Ann CANDY from Evercreech to Wanstrow, Somerset in 1837.

A record came up on Ancestry over a year ago and I have been hoping to go to the Record Office myself  last year, but during to illness could not travel.

I believe Ann CANDY could be my x3 great grandmother who was possibly pregnant - hence the removal order.
The daughter born c1838 was my x2 great grandmother, Sarah who was illegitimate and ended up in Frome workhouse with her own illegitimate son.

Any assistance would be much appreciated

Hi I can't find the removal order on ancestry probably not got the right subscription
but there is a 1841 census for a Sarah Candy age 4
living in Wanstrow with Joseph Vincent 35 an ag lab and Joseph Vincent age 10
Do these names mean anything?Do you think that Joseph snr could be the father of Sarah?
Best of luck Sue
