Charles Mullin (Mullen)
« on: Sunday 10 April 11 02:35 BST (UK) »
My ggg Grandfather was born in Toormore, Cork. in March 1826. I don't know the specific location. He settled in San Francisco, USA, married and had several children. I was wondering if anyone might be able to assist me with more information or tips?
Thanks so much,
Patty

There are Toormore townlands in Aghadown and Kilmoe civil parishes.  I have not seen anybody named Mullen or McMullen in Aghadown tithe applotment but have not looked at Kilmoe parish records.

I just looked over the master index of my TA transcriptions and there is a William McMullen present in Abbeystrowry civil parish.  There were 4 entries.  I don't know if they are the same or different people.  If Charles Mullin's eldest son was called William that could be indicative of a link.
