Muiravonside Steel Forge
« on: Friday 08 April 11 20:59 BST (UK) »
Hi
Does anyone know of a Steel Forge in Muiravonside around 1902? One of my death certificates for a 1 year old boy (George Nisbet) has him dying at "Steel Forge Muiravonside" at 02:40 of teething. It all seems a bit strange to me!

Cheers
Steven

Hi steven,
It may be that there were houses for workers at the forge,as cause of death being from teething i also have an ancestor who died from teething though i suspect it was from the fever related to teething that was the actual cause of death,
