I found an old post and don't know if anyone  can help. I too am looking at the Grinyer/Grenyer clan. At the moment I am tring to suss out william Grinyer who as a widower married spinster Abigail Powell in Brighton in 1809. Their children I believe   are Jesse, Arthur, Charles  and possibly Isaac. In 1851 Isaac 1817  a James 1834 ,  Arthur 1819, and Arthurs wife Sarah (nee Greville)  and son Henry 1848 are in Brighton Workhouse. I found an Abigail Grinyer died in 1840, and an Arthur in 1852  Although I have loads of early Grinyer information I can't fit this William and his sons  in at all. Any help would be really appreciated.

Could not find the baptisms of any of the entries you have written about on IGI or SFHG, nor Abigail's death on FreeBMD.  Nearest on FreeBMD and the SFHG index was the Arthur Grinyer who died in the Brighton workhouse in 1852.  His age was given by SFHG as 22 making a birth year around 1830, which is a decade off the possible birth year you have given.
