The Marden Society History Group should be applauded for a doing a great job with their transcription initiative. I believe I just discovered the parents of my GG-grandmother, Mary East (b 1818)  in the recently published marriage records for St Michaels (Thomas East m. Francis Golding, 1815 at St Michaels). From Mary's marriage cert, I knew her father's name was Thomas.

Hopefully the Christening records, when they are released, will verify the relationship.

James

Marden baptisms have now been transcribed.  :)

They are indexed online but you have to pay for a copy of all records now.  :(
