Ledingham is certainly a north east name. Who registered the death? It is not unusual for mistakes to be made with parents' names. How many of the general public today could give the maiden surnames of their grandmothers? Sometimes the person registering the death is a more remote relative or even a neighbour. Another possibility is that she had been married twice and Ledingham was her first married name.

Graham.

Could it be that Elizabeth Mavor's parents were John Mavor and Elizabeth Ledingham as Nolindr has stated.
