I don't think the first 2 belong to the man in Hillsborough Cemetery,His first wife was Elizabeth,the mother of his 2 children that came to NZ

Catherine shows on the foles as a spinster until 1938, on the 1938 Roll she is living with mother 'Catherine' also at 573 Manukau Road, Roskill, Auckland.

also 1938 John appears 626 Manukau Road, Epsom, occupation storekeeper

The probate for the Hillsborough cemetery John Parry states his entire estate was left to his wife Catherine Armstrong Parry if she predeceased him it was to go to the 2 children that Elizabeth Parry travelled to NZ with

so John must have remarried.
Catherine Armstrong Parry died 17 Feb 1958 and  was cremated at Purewa on the 19 Feb 1958,her ashes were scattered.

Have you any definite information that John actually came to NZ

Hi jan I already know of this family as I have birth certificate for children Elizabeth was born Williams in north wales was already married to a john parry in uk  so this is not correct JP.I have compared his signature on original marriage cert to his first wife with signature on his will 1952 and they do not match .I had found marriage JP to Eliza Johnston 1927 but can find no further info[place of birth].I have been told by a further family member he went to Australia but can find no records on passenger lists that match 1910---1920  only NZ

Hi Del it says roughly "safe in the bosom of our lord" so it is of no help
and the wife was Elizabeth Williams  B4 marriage not Johnston
