marriage Parry to Johnston

Hi still searching for correct John Parry .Born Llanidloes  Mid Wales 1875
Found marriage John Parry to Eliza Johnston  1927  but can't find any further  details such as birth place of JP ,tried to find details of deaths but only one comes up and that is a different one that I already know about  in Hillsborough
the grave inscription is in welsh ,they may not be buried there of course .
There are so many if's and buts along the way is there a site that lets you view the original marriage certificate on line?

are a way you can sometimes gather info about a pending marriage
or from church records

Have you identified your John Parry in any electoral rolls? Occupation?
No possible missdle names??
Otherwise with all the JOhn Parry's it may be a problem

When does he last get heard of in Wales?

Based on the following Elec Rolls, I think theres a good chance this is the couple at Hillsborough


1928
Manukau, Auckland

Elizabeth, 626 Manukau Road, Epsom,married
John, 626 Manukau Road, Epsom, Storekeeper

1935
John same address, same occ, no other PARRY listed at address

"No other clear record for ' this ' Elizabeth after 1928"


1911

John & Julia listed at Gardener Road, Epsom, as man and wife, Johns occ salesman

(NB: This women is buried along with child 1918 at Waikaraka Cem)

1914

John & Julia at, The drive, Epsom, Johns occ- importer

I also have some persons in my family tree starting with John Mostyn PARRY b 1854 wales, this family was from Pukapuka and also descendents lived in Auckland, so i may be able to assist in ruling some of the "Parrys" out for you.

The probate for the Hillsborough cemetery John Parry states his entire estate was left to his wife Catherine Armstrong Parry if she predeceased him it was to go to the 2 children that Elizabeth Parry travelled to NZ with

PARRY E              1876 F 1915 London New Zealand Wellington   
PARRY Gwyneth  1908 F 1915 London New Zealand Wellington   
PARRY Idris         1907 M 1915 London New Zealand Wellington   

so John must have remarried.
Catherine Armstrong Parry died 17 Feb 1958 and  was cremated at Purewa on the 19 Feb 1958,her ashes were scattered.

Have you any definite information that John actually came to NZ
