MYLES - Lethendy - baptism/mge?

Hi,
For many decades I have been looking for detail on my ancestor John MYLES (we knew him as John Myles GRANT for at least 100yrs - until just recently!)
His mother as Janet ANDERSON and I believe his father was Adam MYLES.  I cannot find a marriage for his parents and can find no entry for John MYLES' christening/birth in OPRs.  Most documents point to him being born c 1835 and the 1861 and 1871 Census have him born in Lethendy (though they are hard to transcribe).
Adam MYLES presumably died while John was young and Janet remarried to James GRANT in 1830, Kettins, Angus/Forfarshire.
Janet was born c1811-1818, Scone.
Would be very grateful for any help/assistance anyone can give, does anyone recognise these names?

Wow, that was a fast reply
Though I don't have a 'birth' date for Janet at the moment her death cert says her father was William ANDERSON and her mother Helen PATILLO.  Though the one you sent through fits really well with the approximate year (which differs in various sources) and she was 'of Scone, Perthshire'.
I have her siblings (children of William and Helen) but I cannot find her unfortunately.

Thanks Bruce, they are definitely the family.  I am absolutely confident they are 'mine'.  Though I cannot find Janet.  I think she would be one of the younger perhaps born c1811 or later.

I am beginning to think that Janet ANDERSON perhaps didn't marry Adam MYLES but a son John MYLES was born c 1835 - again have been unable to find his christening.
Have been unable to find him in 1851 but in 1861 and 1871 it looks like he was born Lethendy.... though I found it hard to transcribe his place of birth.  All his children were baptised MYLES as well.  It took me over 20yrs to find them -  we knew them all as GRANTs!!

I have just noticed that in John's marriage his mother's name was given as MYLES nee ANDERSON and not as GRANT! Odd.  Janet married James GRANT - 09 Dec 1838, Kettins, Angus, Scotland - source IGI.
