Im trying to find a birth record for a Ms Emily Lord, married a Fritz William Shoesmith in Blackpool 1911. i have a number on Ancestry and family search. I wondered if someone could help me define the right Emily.

There's an Emily Shoesmith death record in Fylde in 1940 aged 50. This looks likely, given the place of marriage and Fritz's death in Blackpool a decade later. It would place Emily's birth year at c1890

In 1901 in Blackpool there is the following:

Plus a boarder

in 1891 in Todmorden (the nearest town to the tiny Cornholme)

Emma Lord   31                                               Do            Lancs (clearly an error on place or county)
Thomas   3    Todmorden
Emily 1 Todmorden


There's an Emily Lord registered in the Todmorden district in Dec 1890, which looks a good match
