Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Which county?  There is a Longton in Lancashire and also Staffordshire and maybe other counties as well and you have posted on the Common Room board

Harrison is an extremely common surname so you need to give us more information about your particular Harrison family

Christian names
Birthyears

Is your Harrison family spelt with 2 s's or is that a typo?

I have been researching my own branch of the Harrison families from Hoole (Much & Little) and Longton. Looking through my notes I found

Robert Harrison (b abt 1781) married to Ann Gill (b abt 1786) had a daughter Margaret Harrison (b 1817) in Much Hoole. Margaret had 2 sons out of wedlock. Edward Harrison (b 1839) and Thomas Harrison (b 1844).

As can be seen from previous posts Edward was with his mother Margaret in the 1841 census living with Robert and Ann Harrison, also with his brother Thomas in 1851 living with GP's Robert and Ann. In 1849 Margaret married Richard Hesketh at St Marys, Penwortham.
