Beckley Sussex Parish records DENNIS family

Hi,
I am new at this and have seen some 2009 postings regarding parish records for Beckley Sussex.
I am interested in Thomas DENNIS born about 1798 - 1801 Beckley Sussex
Married a Charlotte BUTLER or Charlotte CAMPBELL.
Would love to know
1.    Thomas's parents / siblings
2.    Marriage details for Thomas and Charlotte 6th. September 1823 Beckley, Sussex, England.
On the 1841 census they are living at Beckley Parish in the Hundred of Goldspur with son's Willliam 15yrs and Thomas 2yrs.
Any help very much appreciated.

All the SMI can give you is Charlotte's surname, CAMPBELL.  No extra information, unfortunately.

That much is great because there is confusion between Charlotte's surname being BUTLER or CAMPBELL.
Does anyone have access to the BECKLEY register's.

Not much of a response so far, Brenda. Maybe nobody on this site has the registers. The PRTS doesn't have them, and according to the OPC site there are no IGI batches for the parish.

On the positive side there is an OPC for Beckley, but the OPC site has few register entries. It's not bad on MIs, though - and a few of them have the name DENNIS, too. One of them is Thomas DENNIS who died 6 April 1916 aged 77. That would make him about 2 years old when the 1841 census was taken. Could he be your man's son?

Firstly,i sorry i forgot to Welcome you to Rootschat

Pleased to be of help.
I hav`nt been able to find anything on Charlotte Campbell.

My Husband has Campbell`s living between the Sussex/Kent borders.
They were Travellers & Thomas could`nt make up his mind where he was born.A right pain.
