recognise the pattern? bn WOlverhamton, now living in Ince, an Iron Puddler, child born in Scotland!

So ...
we have three boys, all using the surname Ensall as adults,
all saying consistantly they were born in Wolverhamton, all living in Ince in Lancashire by 1891, all iron puddlers, and all having at least one child who was born in Wistow Scotland.
None were born with surname Ensall, none appear on earlier censuses as Ensall.

Jospeh bn about 1870
William bn about 1867
Thomas bn about 1865
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Thats right. Such common names though, I doubt I'd be able to find much more without a marriage certificate of some kind.

Perhaps a breakthrough?? Found this on a local history website for wolverhampton...

The date is slightly different but negotioble, and note the key word? Puddler... Hmmmmmmm
