Anyone have access to Stockton or Durham Archive Office?
« on: Monday 28 March 11 13:05 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I would really appreciate any help from somebody who has access to the microfilms at Stockton or Durham records office as I live in another country and it is very hard for me to get there!

I am looking to find more newspaper articles relating to the murder of a relative of mine that occured in the Tilery area of Stockton in May 1920. I know that the prisoner was sent to a mental insitution, however I am not sure which one and would like to know. The murder was in a few contemporary local newspapers, however I only have an article from one and do not have details of the trial.

If anybody has access to the microfilms at either office and wouldn't mind having a quick look when you are next there it would be greatly appreciated -  please PM me and I will send all I know.

Many thanks
