My GGGrandfather, whose name was George Jamison(Jameson/Jamieson) was born in Northallerton in 1834. He moved in late 1870's to Viewley Hill farm in Wolviston, Durham. In 1890-1893 I find him and his family listed as working as farmers again but this time at Greenfield, Hilton, Nr Stokesley. In the 1901 census he is back at Viewley Hill. I would love some help finding his family in 1841(he would be7ish) and 1851 Census's for Northallerton and also any information about Greenfield if anyone knows anything about this farm. Why he may have moved between the two farms (he was in his 60's when he returned to Viewley)How can I find out when he made those moves, who else lived at Greenfield before and after his family
. How can I find information about what life was like on that farm for him and his wife and their 11 children!! the last of which was my GGrandmother Ethel Jameson.
