Another Look up Request for CLIST.

Hi, this time i am looking for help with marriage/death of Charles Clist born 1820/1 in South Brent somerset. Parents were John Clist and Sarah Brown.
Siblings William,John, George, Joseph. 1841 census he was living with parents in South Brent.

Do you have any evidence that he did marry  ???

No no evidence at all. sorry, iwas just hoping maybe he did as there were 2 marriages in 1845 one´chard, somerset and the other bedminster, Glos, :(

I made note of all the females on both pages for the marriages of Charles Clist in Chard and Bedminster to see if I could find him with any of them on the 1851 census.

The only Charles I could find has a wife Lydia which was not on the list, I did notice however that she is a lot older than him 8 years so could be a second marriage  :-\ But this family is in Devon not Somerset.

Doing a search for any Charles, born South Brent, in both 1851 and 1861 censuses fails to turn up a Clist - or anything resembling Clist!

Either he has died before 1851, or he doesn't own up to South Brent being his birth place?
Or yet another transcription error?

Thanks for all your info. I have found a Charles Clist spelt Clyst who died in Bedminster in 1848,so am going to try and follow this up to see if i come up with anything. Its worth a try don't you think?
