glasgow 1906

This is a photograph of my grandmothers family....my gran is the one sitting on her mothers knee....any help with restoration would be really great.

Hi CC...how sure are you that this is 1906? Doesn't look right. I'd put it at least 20 years earlier...if I'd been asked, which I wasn't

My gran was born in 1906 and she was about 9 months old in this, and her mother died in 1907 after having another baby so I'm sure it was 1906..........

Never mind...I've just seen the bigger scan farther down the page...hard to see the man's shirt collar in this one but it's much clearer in the large one.

The lady is really out of date for the time, though, and so are the kids. With children it's understandable, as kids' clothing was passed around for maybe 20 years or so. But the ladies usually tried to wear the latest style for a photo...it was sort of a social statement

It's a very nice photo...hope you get a good cleanup WHAT lovely cleanups you've had.....especially Irene's
