Sarah Collier - Huddersfield birth

Hi.  I don't know if some kind soul could check out a Huddersfield baptism for me.  All I have is Sarah Collier bapt. Apr - Jun 1838 Huddersfield.  I don't know which church or how many churches there are in Huddersfield so this may not be a feasible look up request.

do you have any idea of the area or village she was from because the Huddersfield registration area is quite large

Did you notice that, rather ominously, there is also a death for a Sarah COLLIER in Huddersfield in the same quarter?

I checked the baptisms for Almondbury Parish Church, a large part of Huddersfield registration district, but sarah is not there.

Thank you both for your replies.  I wasn't sure how big the district was John - I'm sorry that I have no more information to offer (only what I could find on free BMD).

Lesley, you may have picked up on something I missed.  My Sarah Collier is the sister of Charlotte Eliza whose birth certificate I have, born in Sowerby Bridge but her sister is proving more elusive hence my shot in the dark which looks as though it may be wrong.

I have had a quick look in some of the Huddersfield church and all I found was an Elizabeth Collyer daughter of James & Prudence Collyer of Queen Street, baptised at Huddersfield St. Peter's 19 November 1837.

I had a look at the 1851 census and found

(Lockwood and Rashclife are areas in Huddersfield)

Thank you for looking John.  I do feel that she isn't my Sarah as she is living in Kent in 1851.  I do wonder if she may have been registered in a different place to her birth which is why I can't find her.
