Hi, Perhaps you noticed this Ramsay?
 I have an Alexander C Ramsay -  who came from anywhere help please ...
He married my great aunt Edith Elizabeth Dyer, [ b 1866 Vic. Australia.,] in Hong Kong 1890 in a Catholic Cathedral... They had a son Alexander Ramsay  born 1890 in Shanghai,  who grew to 6 foot 1" tall, who fought in WW1   and survived Egypt and France. His mother lived in Sydney 1915.

I'm guessing you don't have details of who his parents were? I have looked at the Ramsays on my tree but know about all the Alexander Ramsays there. If there is a connection I think it would need to be quite far back. I have an Alexander Ramsay born around 1823 in Edinburgh. His parents were Alexander and Janet Ramsay. I know about all of his children born in the 1840s and 1850s but it is possible that he had a brother who may be the father of your Alexander. Pure speculation though I'm afraid.
