WWI Medals Advice
« on: Saturday 19 March 11 22:43 GMT (UK) »
My Uncle, William Henry Smith b 1900, served with the 12 Battalion Durham Light Infantry (DLI) from March 1918 until Apr 1920 including Italy.

Can someone advise what campaign medals my uncle would have been entitled to?

Hi Heather

He would have received the British War Medal and Victory Medal. See - http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/documentsonline/medals.asp
