I have managed to research the homer family tree up to Thomas Homer but I can get no further back

Thomas Homer - born -1720 in sidlesham area
                          death - June  1788 Donnington
                           Married Mary Hammond 07 Sep 1742 in N. Mundam
children Sarah -1744-1804, thomas 1746-1808, John 1749, Ann 1751, John 1753-1794

any help will be greatly recieved, if you require help for any descendants of thomas I shall also be able to help

There is also an Elizabeth Homer baptised 1763 in Donnington to a Thomas and Mary Homer.

I have a Thomas Homer in my family tree son of Ernest and Elimy Bloomer. Thomas born 1921 in England. Any relation?

I also have The Homer's back to 1720 he was my GGGGGG grandfather, I havent been able to go back any further and would interested to find out if they originated from France?
