Albury Pioneer Cemetery lookup please - Thirza Clementine SMITH

I am looking for Thirza Clementine Smith -
Born 1888
Died 1926 in West Wyalong

I have had someone look at West Wyalong and there were no records of her being buried there. Her parents are buried at Albury - Robert Smith Died 1 Dec 1887, Sarah Smith Died 2 July 1917. So I was thinking she might be buried in the same place as her parents as she never married.

Hi Darz, That I can see and you may probably have already seen the transcriptions for Albury Pioneer are only Lutheran.

Cemeteries online have it listed with lots of very nice photo's.

Have you checked the obits for the timeframe in papers? This may give you a lead as to which cemetery!

Hi Darz,
Thirza's death certificate should list the place she was buried.
If you don't get her full certificate you can get a transcriber to just look for the Cemetery.
I live 1/2 an hour from Albury so I could take some photos if you like

Thank you so much everyone for the info....

I wonder where the name Henderson comes from....as she never married and I haven't come accross that name before....I guess I have some digging to do...
I had another person look for Thirza in west wyalong and she wasn't there...I wonder if she is burried under the name Henderson.??
Why would she be registed under two names?

Nothing under Henderson or Smith at West Wyalong or any surrounding Riverina cemeteries for her.

Albury actually have three cemeteries they have a very good service to assist people with their family history free of charge.
There is one central phone number you can contact them on for cemetery records: (02) 6025 1764.

Also, her mother Sarah is not buried at Albury, she is only memorialised on the headstone of Robert's grave.
Sarah died 2/7/1917 at Black Rock, Victoria & was buried at Cheltenham Cemetery Victoria on 4/7/1917.

Thanks for that MERLIN. I did know that Thirza's mother was buried at Cheltenham and memorialised at Albury with her husband Robert. Thanks for that number, I will give them a call and see what they can find out....I have also ordered Thirza's death cert. so hopefully that will have something on it...
