Perhaps if you contacted the local Genealogy Society and explained that you are over seas and have exhausted the online data searches, they may be able to help out.

Here is the link for the Halton-Peel branch.  I noticed that there is a link for "Research Queries" about half way down the page.  You will be looking in Halton:

Let them know the years you think they died.  As it is recent in genealogy terms, this rules out many of the cemeteries.  Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery is the largest most active cemetery for recent burials but you never know.  These individuals may have purchased their plot long before the cemetery was "Sold Out".

The base of  Halinet is in Milton, close to Oakville.

I have looked in Ontario cemetery finding aid. Did not find the forenames, and the Drivers that were buried were not in HAlton.
Also the Halton website. There was a marriage announcement.
I could not make out the names or dates - but they were earlier than I think you were looking.

You could nust enter the last name and see if any names are recognized. If you get a group of Drivers, you might find they are buried elsewhere

Hi,

I hope you have had some luck with your searches. 

I found the two "Driver" references from the OGS transcripts at the Toronto Reference Library.   Most of the transcripts there are current as of the mid 1980s - so earlier than you were hoping.   I looked in the indexes of the Trafalgar Township transcripts in the Toronto library Halton County collection - no Drivers.  (I believe Trafalgar Twp is where Oakville is located)

However,  the Oakville library may have more recent versions of the transcripts.   I would suggest that you contact the OGS (I am sure there is a link somewhere on this thread) and see how recent their transcripts are.   Either of these sources may have more up to date cemetery records. 

Here are the two that you located and wondered about:
Laurel Hill, Bolton, Albion (current to 1986)
Peter Mitchell Dec 27 1863 - Sept 11 1946 and his wife Maggie DRIVER Jan 8 1873-June 27 1944.

Brampton Public
Lawrence DRIVER 1920-1979, beloved husband of Joyce Miller (no dates - so she was likely alive as of 1986)
