There is this birth to look into...? https://www.familysearch.org
Joseph A Cadorette Birth  Dec 7  1900 Montague, Massachusetts
parents  Louis Cadorette / Albina Cote both born Canada

Of course there are at least half a dozen young Joseph on the 1911 / various spellings of the surname
http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census11   you'll need to find some  proof of which may be yours...

I imagine you have the marriage but no parents were listed?

You also forgot to mention that on Lorna's death, her father was listed as " Alphonse Cadorette"
Joseph may have just been his baptismal name and so may have been known by second name Alphonse

Joseph Orval may become a good clue, and did find a couple of them... but was that the full or partial name of an ancestor and if it was...is the name spelled phonetically.

Name Cadorette sounds familiar...Bullfrog is researching some of them. Why don't you send him a PM and see if he has them.

Well never mind the one born in Montague, Massachusetts as he died in infancy according to the other site link given by China
