If have time can you look for a marriage of Thomas Gad to Elizabeth Banks 31 Aug 1823 Market Drayton Shrophire. Any details available would be helpful.  Particularly age of both as have a dispute on birth dates and parents.

DMC.......Thomas Gad and Elizabeth Banks of this parish married by banns 31st August 1823. 
Thomas signed, Elizabeth her mark "X".

Witnesses: John Griffiths "X" his mark
                  Ann Gad "X" her mark

No ages or parents unfortunately

ask for a marriage lookup please? It took place at Shifnal,
on the 13th January 1800 between Richard Parry and
Elizabeth Hansel.

Steffy.......This was one that wasn't on microfiche, but transcribed only.  I had the pleasure of looking through a rather old handwritten book, and it was such beautiful swirly writing!

Unfortunately, as it was 1800 there was only the basic information:

13th January 1800 Richard Parry and Elizabeth Hansel   There were, however, the witnesses names: Joseph Heath and Sarah Hansel

Please don't go to a lot of effort as I don't have an exact date but I'm wondering if there's a baptism for a Mary Lees in Wellington abt 1786-9,she doesn't show up on the IGI but then not all Parish Register entries do

Angelfish.....I checked All Saints, Wellington baptisms from 1785 - 1789 and couldn't find Mary.  Note that part of 1788 was labelled "faded document" and extremely difficult to even see any words

Also two births if possible.
Ann Stokes 9 Sept 1765 Neen Savage
Elizabeth Stokes 12 Oct 1766 Neen Savage.

I checked the Neen Savage baptisms fiche for 1764 - 1773 and couldn't find Ann or Elizabeth.

I'd like to know if they name the parents.

June.......The registers only list basic information, no ages or parents names are included:

David Jones, Batchelor and Elizabeth Stokes, Spinster 31st December 1792.

Neither could write as both signed X their mark.

I have a James Lloyd marrying a Mary Chilton on the 23 Jul 1752 in Wroxeter. This makes them both in their 30s, which is a bit old for those days, so I'd like to just verify I have the correct details. I'm hoping there might be reference to their ages or state whether they are widowed at the time of marriage. Also hoping to shed some light on parentage. I have, very tentatively, James' parents as Francis Lloyd & Ann ? but nothing for Mary's parents.
