George Annsley Harvey

Hello I need help trying to locate the exact date and birth place of my great grandfather George.We know that he was born in England. On one of his chilkdren's birth certificate he stated that his birth place was Sandhurst but on all other birth certificates he states Leicestershire. We estimate his year of birth to be 1859 or 1860. He moved to Wales and married Margaret Criddle and then they emigrated to Australia in 1884 or 1885.
Can any one help please?

Start by getting the marriage cert to Margaret Criddle.
That'll give a father and from that we might have a chance of ID-ing the child/birth entry

I can only find one Margaret Criddle on the 1881 census - she is 19 years old, and living at home in Cardiff.

There is a marriage for her:
March qtr 1885 Cardiff  Vol 11a, page 377
Criddle, Margaret
Harris, James    or    Maile, Thomas


No sign of George Harvey!?

P.S. I searched all Criddle marriages from 1876 to 1901
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)

So George Annsley Harvey did not, in fact, marry Margaret Criddle?

Yes he did according to their children's birth certificates and hopefully the marriage certificate I ordered. I find it hard that information is not all together like here in Australia. So, here's hoping and thank you for the reply.

If George Harvey married in Cardiff in 1884, then this must be the marriage?

March qtr 1884,

Harvey, George

   then either
Hayes, Margaret Elizabeth
   or
Parnell, Elizabeth Jane A
I simply cannot find a marriage of George Harvey to Margaret Criddle.

Looks like this George (above) married Elizabeth Jane Parnell, as there is a couple in the 1891 census:
Harvey George   age 31
Harvey, Elizabeth J A    age 31
Harvey, Lizzie  Daughter  age 6
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
