Bothwell area newspapers

Have a death certificate 12 May 1862, Bothwell Parish, for John Bell, cause of death "Died from hurt sustained in coal pit."
He and the informant were at some place that looks like Naclperton, first letter is definately an N. based on a word above.
Hoping that one of you good people may know what name of this place really is?
The informant was Stephen Gamble a roadman of the same place.
The death didn't appear on the online site of coal mining deaths, so sent them details today.
Wondering if there is a local Bothwell area newspaper that might have recorded the accident.
the certificate doesnt say any number of days since the accident so I imagine he died the same day as the accident.
he was married to Sarah Thomson, and was aged 43, census records indicate he was irish born.
Regards Colin

Could this be where he died?

The parish contains also the towns of UDDINGSTON (1 3/8 mile NNW of Bothwell village), BELLSHILL (2 1/4 NE), and HOLYTOWN (4 1/4 ENE), with portions of CALDERBANK (6 NE) and CLELAND (7 E), and the villages of NACKERTON (2 1/2 N by W), Carnbroe (4 NE), MOSSEND (2 3/4 NE), New Stevenston (4 5/8 E by N), Legbranock (5 3/4 ENE), Newhouse (6 3/4 ENE), CHAPELHALL (6 3/8 ENE) CARFIN (5 1/2 E), and NEWARTHILL (5 3/8 E by N). I think  ??? the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser included the Bothwell area in the regional news section, but if so it would most likely only be a summary report at best, rather than detailed coverage.  You can consult the films of the Airdrie papers at Airdrie Library, but I'm not sure what dates are available.  They are amazingly helpful/knowledgeable there, so might have suggestions of other sources, too.
