1841 Edmund Allen married Sarah Harse in Bristol area.
1851 Edmund Allen a Greenwich Penioner who says he was born at Ringwood Wilts, but more lightly at Kingswood Gloucestershire was at the Gas Works at Weston Super Mare including staff William Harse and Elizabeth Harse both appear to be working in the Gas Works at Weston.
1861 and Edmund has moved on and is now the Manager of the Gas Works at Hubberston residing with him are Sarah his wife and 7 children including Joseph Allen.
1871 and Edmund has moved on again and is now Working Gas Manager at Narberth Bridge with Sarah and 3 children one Edward has now returned to Weston and is employed in the Gas Works there.
1881 and Edmund is still working at Narberth Bridge but rather bizarre gives Essex as his birth place, it is the same Edmund as proven by the birth place of his daughter living with him who was born at Hakin (Census shows Milford)
24th Oct 1888 Edmund is buried in the Anglican Churchyard Narberth
Joseph Allen son of Edmund follows his father as far as 1881 by which time he has taken up residence at 3 Owen St Orange Gardens Pembroke, a few hundred yards from where I now live.
In 1885 his daughter Frances M. Beatrice Allen is baptised at Monkton St Nicholas.
By 1891 Joseph has moved nearer to his place of work that being Stephenson’s Engineering Works in East Back where he is employed as a wheelwright, a trade he has followed since Weston-super-Mare.
He stays in Eastback but by 1911 he now resides at 14 Albany St Bufferland and is residing in Bufferland in 1918 when his wife is buried He joins her on 25 Sept 1922 at Llanion Cemetery and I have found and cleaned their headstone.
09 Apr 1917 Frances M.B. Allen became the 2nd wife of William Oriel when they married at Pembroke Dock St Johns. William was the son of David Oriel the farm baliff of Caldey Island.
William & Frances moved up the valleys to various locations with Williams work as a manager for the Co-op Society until they resided in Chepstow at Orielton Wyebank Ave they had 4 children, 2 sets of twins, 2 boys and 2 girls.
The Will of Frances was probated 09 July 1969.
