Greek-Cypriot 1950 Nottingham
« on: Friday 11 March 11 11:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

I am looking for any information on a man who came from Cyprus.

I don't have a name for him but he left Nottingham to return home in 1951, he worked at a little restaurant in Notts but i don't know the name.  I would however be able to narrow it down with the little information i know.

Would anybody know about a business list for 1950 Nottingham?

I don't know much about Nottingham but have been told the Restaurant once stood near Notts Cathedral and there were several little restaurants close by and something about Albert Hall.(not sure what that means)

If anyone could help point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Many Thanks
 :)

The Albert Hall (have been there many times to concerts) is on North Circus Street (off Derby Rd)nottingham -opposite St Barnabus Cathedral and adjacent to Nottingham Playhouse

If that helps narrow down the area?

Hi,

Thank you for that, it does help as it had to of been around that area and being opposite to one another is even better that being streets away.
