Hello! It's true I haven't worked on my family tree for a while as I was struggling going further back - thought I'd wait til some more parish records were online! Anyway Phillip Leckonby was my gr gr gr grandfather on my mothers side so any info you have on John is much appreciated. I have also built up a file on Aaron, Phillips son, who had quite an eventful life to say the least, if you're interested!
Cheers David

Right - I had down to John Henry on your line but no further...it's great to find someone with a common grandparent! You must be one generation down from me. So are you still in the north east? Do you know much about John b1771, all I have is that he was a cordwainer (shoemaker) and his father in law was Phillip Dennis - I had noted down Dinnie but I think that was based on the old parish register scrawly writing!

I know I should use a software programme but just never got round to it despite loads of info! Would be great to see the line above John - is it a gedcom file? I could maybe download something to read it...And I got your message about emailing - I'll send you my doc about Aaron - he was your gr gr gr grandads brother.
