McPhillips

I am looking for connections to my family from Co Monaghan. Patrick McPhillips was born in 1857 in Monaghan Parish, baptised at Rakeeragh. He married Margaret Maguire in 1893. His parents Hugo ( Patrick) and Maria Keely. I cannot find anything more about the family before this. Any further information would be gratefully receievd.

I was going through some old stuff and found this poem by Pat McPhillips. This is a partial photocopy of the original which is extremely delicate. I think it was my grandmother's (deceased), my mother gave it to me, she does not know where it came from. I suspect it is at least 80+ years old.

The part missing from the photocopy reads:
THE MAGPIE
It's a wee bit Irish so
dont take it all in.
