« on: Wednesday 20 April 05 23:13 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have access to parish records from Castletownarra? Im looking for baptistmal records for the children of William BASKERVILLE and Margaret CASWELL:

Children born in Ireland before they immigrated to Canada in 1833,1834 are:

James Baskerville b 22 Dec 1810
Mary Baskerville b 22 May 1812
Henry Baskerville b 10 Oct 1813
Catherine Baskerville b 20 Jan 1816
William Baskerville b 22 Feb 1818
Ellen Baskerville b 26 Dec 1819
John Baskerville b 22 Oct 1822
Ann Baskerville b 25 June 1824
Samuel Baskerville b 31 Jul 1825
Christopher Baskerville b 12 June 1827
Elizabeth Baskerville b 13 Feb 1828
Matilda Jane b 7 Jul 1832

There were a couple of children that died before they left for canada and would like to know if there is such a thing a burial records at the parishes.

Thanks!

Hello Jogarner,

What denomination were the Baskerville family?

The Castletownarra Roman Catholic Records started in 1849 www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~fianna/county/tipperary/tiprc.html

The Castletownarra parish records are now available online. They start in 1802.

All the children are listed except Matilda Jane.

Hope this helps.
