Hi Jimbow

The Wilberforce family aren't strictly related to me but I will find the information I have on Margaret's marriage to John Dobson and their two children. I'm about to go away so it might be a while yet but I will see what i can do.

Margaret born 16 November 1863, married 26 october 1889 at Holy Trinity Walton on the Hill to John Dobson. Died 28 feb 1895 at 31 Pendennis St Anfield. Buried 3 March 1895 Everton cemetery

John Wilberforce Dobson bn 19 Sept 1890 christened 7 Dec 1890 St Cuthbert Everton died 181 Granton St Everton buried 27 Sept 1891 Everton Cemetery

Sydney Wilberforce Dobson bn 1893 buried 20 May 1895 Everton Cemetery

After my holiday I am intending to do some work on my Dobson line so will send you any more details I find about the Wilberforces.

John Dobson married my grandmother and had 6 more children 3 died very young.

Look at Lancashire OPC.All the records you could possibly want are on line . My husband has been finding loads of Ormskirk records .So many villages have been transcribed.
Ringrose

Thanks for your info Ringrose, I did know about Lancs OPC, and it has been updated since I was last on, which was many many months ago. The Ormskirk thing turned out to be a misnomer on my part, which was pointed out to me by the lovely people of this site. With their help I managed to trace back to a village in North Yorkshire called North Newbald, with possible connections in Wilberfoss. Thanks again.
